Dacian Julien Cioloș〔http://www.realitatea.net/al-doilea-prenume-frantuzesc-al-lui-dacian-ciolo-de-ce-a-decis-mama-sa-sa-l-numeasca-julien_1828876.html〕 ((:dat͡ʃiˈan ˈt͡ʃjoloʃ); born 27 July 1969, Zalău) is a Romanian agronomist, engineer, politician and the current Prime Minister of Romania. In the Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu cabinet, he was Agriculture Minister from October 2007 to December 2008. In November 2009, European Commission President José Manuel Barroso nominated him to be the next Agriculture Commissioner, a post he assumed in February 2010 and held until his term expired in November 2014. On 10 November 2015, President Klaus Iohannis appointed Cioloș to form a new government, following the resignation of Victor Ponta a week earlier.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Klaus Iohannis l-a desemnat pe Dacian Ciolos pentru functia de premier )〕 After the vote of confidence in the Parliament on 17 November, Dacian Cioloș took over the position of Prime Minister of Romania, becoming the second native of Sălaj County to hold this office, after Iuliu Maniu.
